Archaeological Site of Aliki

Near Aliki Beach and on the opposite side, on the southeast side of Thassos at a distance of 31 km from Limenas there is an archeological point of interest. we could characterize it as the second important archeological site after the ancient city of Thassos. The evidence shows that the presence in Aliki is continuous from the 7th century BC. until today. In the archeological site of Aliki there is an ancient settlement with the sanctuary and also the surrounding worship caves, the ancient marble quarry and two royal churches.
